Community Guidelines
At Safe Date we appreciate and honor those who are honest, kind and respectful of others. We want everyone to be free to express themselves, but not at the expense of others. Think before you act and abide by our community guidelines both on and offline. Remember, one of the key elements of our community is the ability to 'rate' other members that they've met or dated. (Do you look like your photos? Do you match the profile you created?) Be a good member of the community.
Our community guidelines are listed below. Violation of these guidelines, as stated in our Terms and Privacy, may result in your profile being removed from Safe Date.
Behavior Not Tolerated on Safe Date
- Scamming and Fraud
Predatory behavior won’t be tolerated. Do not attempt to get other users’ information—personal, financial or otherwise. Any member that solicits financial information from other members for the purpose of personal gain will be banned from the site. - Harassment of Others
Targeted abuse or harassment is not tolerated, either directly or by trying to influence others to perform it. Period. This includes bullying and intimidation and any form of sexual harassment. - Violence and Physical Harm—Direct or Inferred
We do not tolerate any form of violence or physical harm. This includes posts, chats or in photos uploaded to your profile. We track IP addresses and logins so “I was hacked” isn’t a likely excuse. Don’t do it. - Nudity and Sexual Content
There are other sites where you can post your nude photos or write about your escapades. This isn’t the place for it. We don’t want to stifle your freedom of expression however nude or explicit photos will not be allowed. - Private Information
Unlike a lot of other dating sites, Safe Date does not sell your data. Not only that, but we take preventative measures to make sure your information is not stolen by another site. You should be protective of your data, as well. Do not publicize information about yourself that may compromise your safety. Never reveal personal information, such as your financial info, real name and address, to another member until you feel comfortable doing so. If you feel you have been pressured to do so or have been asked for private information in an inappropriate or threatening manner while on the site, report it to Safe Date immediately and block further contact with that member. - Spam or Solicitation
Don’t use Safe Date to promote your websites or services. If you aren’t here to find your missing piece then you are here for the wrong reasons. - Prostitution and Human Trafficking
Prostitution and human trafficking are never allowed. Safe Date isn’t even the place to talk about them. If you are suspected of either, your profile will be removed and your information will be given to the proper jurisdiction. - Minors
You must be 18 years of age or older to use Safe Date. Please don’t post photos of your underage children unless you are in the photo with them. - Impersonation
Come on, now. Be yourself. Impersonating someone else will get you banned from Safe Date. This also means that you own your account. Don’t share. Don’t create multiple accounts. - Copyright and Trademark Infringement
Posting other people’s property, artwork, writings and photos as if they were yours, is illegal. Your profile could be removed.
